Welcome to my world of home-building education! I’m Jennifer Ivanov. As a single mom with five kids, I was struggling to make a living in the cutthroat world of real estate.

Then, one day, an unexpected opportunity seemed to drop into my lap. The construction lender I had worked with as an appraiser offered to fund a construction project for me. I decided to take a chance and build an affordable home for my family. Despite having no experience, no contractor license, and no money, I found a way. It was both scary and exciting, but I knew I had to give it a go.

As a former real estate appraiser, I immediately saw the profit potential to build spec homes. I continued on my home building path for 24 years. It provided stability for my family and set me financially free. Needless to say, I’ve never looked back!

The Return on Effort in Home Building

Throughout my entrepreneurial journey, I’ve explored various businesses, but none have offered a better return on effort than home building.

Unlike real estate, where you’re constantly hustling for the next deal. Or selling products that demand ongoing effort to maintain cash flow, home building provides a unique balance.

It demands minimal ongoing time and effort while maximizing returns. Because in my experience, it’s been the best opportunity to create lasting value with less stress and most importantly, allowed me extra time to spend with my kids.

My Mission

My mission, now that I’m semi-retired, is to help coach others with my know-how and expertise. I feel a strong sense of purpose in empowering women, aspiring builders, and real estate enthusiasts like you with the knowledge and tools needed to succeed in your home building journey.

With 39 years of diverse experience as a spec home builder, real estate broker, appraiser, mortgage lender, and real estate sales and marketing professional, I bring together my extensive knowledge of every aspect of real estate with home building. Moreover, this knowledge is essential to offer a high level of comprehensive understanding needed for success.

This extensive background enables me to teach you effectively and help you navigate the complexities of construction and property ownership with confidence.
